Strong Retail Growth – Frisco has seen a major influx of restaurants and stores locate here over the past few years. We want to continue to encourage this growth so that our citizens have a wide range or choices within our city. The retail sector contributes heavily to our strong tax base allowing us to keep taxes low for our citizens. I will work with businesses to encourage them to locate to Frisco and with existing businesses to provide opportunities to grow and prosper.

Our sales tax revenues have grown tremendously and there are no signs of this slowing. Sales tax revenues help our Economic Development Corporation (EDC) attract more businesses to Frisco and help our Community Development Corporation (CDC) to acquire additional park space for our citizens so everybody benefits from these numbers.

I will continue to work and support our efforts to bring more corporations to Frisco to not only bring more jobs but also help lessen the property tax burden on our citizens.
