Open Space and Parks – As a planning and zoning commissioner and a city council member for the City of Frisco, I supported the requirement for more open space in retail and commercial developments and have continued to push for open space in all new residential developments. I will work closely with the Parks & Recreation board to ensure that we have more than adequate parks and recreation areas for the families and citizens of Frisco to enjoy both visually and physically.

2001 saw Frisco create a Hike and Bike Trail master plan that will connect Frisco with our neighboring cities and provide trails throughout the city to further increase our quality of life and preserve more open space. I will continue to push for the development of our trail system throughout our city

A world-class parks system is very important to me and something I will continue to support. The new Grand Park, to be located west of the Dallas North Tollway, and south of Main Street, will be the envy of the entire metroplex. For more information, visit the Parks and Recreation area of the City's web site.
